After sitting down on the edge of his bed in his hotel room to think about the encounter he just had, Roscoe can’t help but stare at the strange radio sitting in the corner. When he finally brings himself to open the case and turn the power switch on, the howling of the buzz of the amp startles him and he feels overcome with the noise and brings his hands to his face. After a short while, the buzzing is overcome with singing tones and as the fight or flight response resides, he realizes that the radio is howling in what he at first thinks is pain, but then harmony. He reaches his hand out towards the radio and begins to stroke the smoothness of the body but as he gets closer to the steel cables and metal parts, the hair on the back of his neck stands up and small blue static sparks jump from his fingers, causing the radio to emit tiny explosions through the howling. He realizes as he peers at this strange artifact that the howling is maybe singing and there is a peace and serenity that is calling to him. He leans closer and closer in towards the radio until his nose is almost touching the steel cables and a flash of white envelopes him….
